Our administrative offices as well as production and warehouse

facilities are located in the surroundings of Padova, 30km west of Venice.

 

Our headquarters are located in a 14th century church in the centre of

San Giacomo, 10km south of Padova.

 

The church was restored to its original beauty, including its 14th century frescos and Venetian school's marble floor. This renewed artistic patrimony is now in the care of Italian Fine Arts.

History

 

Pub Company was founded in February 1999 with the aim of providing a full range of services for the software publishing industry.

 

January 1999: Development of the pay per use software system, a digital rights management and e-commerce system for software publishers.

 

February 1999: The setup of software manufacturing structure is completed.

 

April 1999: The setup of department software selection, localisation and licensing activities. Pub Company is recognised as a global service provider for software publishers.

 

May 2000: Pub Company moves to new offices, a 14th century church situated in Albignasego, Italy (10 km south of Padova, 30 km from Venice).

 

July 2000: The launch pubcompany.com, version 1

 

Autumn 2000: New HDSL intranet/internet infrastructure supporting 640Mb/s transmission speed is installed.

 

December 2000: Registration of the pay per use trademarks payperuse in Europe is archived.

 

February 2001: Our team expands, with Ivana and Mattia in charge of quality and customer care. Development of our intranet that will give customers real time access to the production process via the web begins. Pub Company completes the quality manual. ISO-9002 certification is on its way.

 

Mid-2002: Opening of the new German office in Nürnberg with Rainer Obesser in charge. Angelo Tengattini heads the Italian marketing and sales team and Federico is busy on our Lotus Notes intranet to implement the quality system.

 

November 2002: Michael joins our team from Denmark. He is heading the development of the PPU system.
